During his campaign, Trump has supported building a wall on the border to Mexico and curbing immigration as well as strengthening the vetting process for new immigrants.
In terms of the economy, he has promised to cut corporate tax and overhaul the tax code in general. In order to keep the U.S.-market from being flooded with goods made abroad, Trump wants to impose a higher tax on imported goods. He wants to re-negotiate NAFTA and keep as many jobs in the United States.
On the top of his list for his current term in office, Trump has promised to replace The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) with a new healthcare system to lighten the burden of healthcare costs for Americans. Also on the list of concerns for the president are America’s role in NATO, the Word Trade Organization, and the Paris Climate Agreement.
