Bill Clinton (1946-)
Bill J. Clinton was one of the youngest U.S. Presidents and was very popular with the public. He was born on August 19, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas.
His father died a few months after his birth and he was raised by his grandparents. In 1950, his mother returned from New Orleans and married the car dealer Roger Clinton the same year.
At the age of 17, Clinton joined the "American Legion" like the former US President John F. Kennedy. Clinton studied Internationalen Relations at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. At this time, he got a scholarship to study at Oxford and then he studied law at Yale University.
Bill Clinton became the youngest governor when he was elected at the age of 32 in Arkansas. Later, he worked for the law firm Wright, Lindsey und Jennings in Little Rock, Arkansas.
